MOLT FILMS produces thoroughly researched, thoughtfully constructed, and aesthetically engaging independent documentary films for international audiences.
Catharine Axley is an independent documentary filmmaker and educator based in central Pennsylvania. Her most recent film, ATTLA, aired nationally on PBS' Independent Lens series. She holds an M.F.A. from Stanford University and a B.A. in History and Ethnicity, Race & Migration from Yale University, has taught at the University of Kentucky and Spelman College and now teaches in the Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State University.
